Good Morning Beautiful People 😀

It’s little past six, May 2nd. The birds are up and chirping away. They seem to be most vocal before the dawn. Is that normal? Is it just me that thinks that? I don’t know.. There’s several different pitches and songs. I imagine the birds are preparing for babies. The last few years, the neighbors shutters held a nest of babies.

I’ve been up since five. I’m too excited to sleep. I have my love visiting this morning. I am beyond myself excited to see him. The last few days have been wonderful. I have learned he does remember bits and pieces, so he does remember me. Before him, things like concussions and PTSD were topics I heard. It wasn’t until now, that I’ve gained knowledge and some understanding of them.

Why do I say this? As humans, adaptation is apart of living… The more we know, the better we can work with new and unfamiliar. At no point in our lives do we know everything; and, we always have time to learn something new. On the daily, we’re reading blogs and Facebook, Twitter, watching GOT and the news. Our information intake doesn’t stop. What if we learned about useful topics, topics that already matter… What if we taught ourselves a second language. What if we chose to study the basics of the brain, or agriculture? I’m always hungry for new insight. I hope to have encouraged you to explore new information.

It’s now seven, and I’ve been trying to wake up and get this blog posted forever now. My girls are up, one sick (again!! Guh!), and the other one a bit still tired I think. They both look cute anyway. Zivah’s school year is almost over. That’s exciting.

OK, that’s the morning rundown. How you all enjoy your Thursday!

Fandango’s One Word Challenge: compass

The compass wasn’t broken;

It was just real,

Guiding her in the direction

Of which she was destined;

Rather than, that

Of illusion and destruction 🙏🏼

Bee Facts 🐝

  1. Bees memory is manipulated by caffeine. (Read more about that buzzzz here!)
  1. The venom of a bee sting is used for treating things such as arthritis and blood pressure. ( Read more about bee facts here!)
  1. Male bees are nearly useless. ( Read more about that here!)
  1. Honeybees will change their brain chemistry before performing a new task. ( Check it out!)
  1. One bee has to fly about 90,000 miles – three times around the globe – to make one pound of honey. ( Read more about it here!)

Who am I?

©️2019NovaNamaste

More than the words I write and the pictures you see. Here’s a glimpse into my depth, my layers.

1. If you had to sum up the internet in one word, what would it be?

– Artificial

2. If you could have an all-expenses paid trip to see any famous world monument, which monument would you choose?

I would have to say the “monument” would be Lady Diana’s final resting place. She’s a piece of my roots, and I felt such a huge loss when she died.

3. If you could go on a cross country road trip with famous person, dead or alive, who would it be?

Hands down, Melissa McCarthy! She’s hysterical and would be a riot on a road trip!

4. What is an activity that never looks cool?

Potato sack race 🤦🏼‍♀️ Just, why? Lol

5. What job doesn’t exist now but will in the future?

Professional battery changer! This world is slowly but surely being over run by self operated devices. Someone has to charge the dang things.

6. You’re locked in the mall overnight, what do you do first?

– Raid the food court, particularly the chocolate /ice cream shop lol.

7. Where is your favorite place to escape to?

– Anywhere there’s water! My soul refreshes so easily when I’m sitting by the wide and vastness of an endless body of water. I feel like I could sit on a pier and let my troubles drift away with the tide.

8. What’s something you do the non-fashioned, non -tech way?

– I paint!! I’m not an expert by any means, but I really enjoy it!

9. If you could give your children one talent, what would it be?

– I would give my daughters the talent of empathy. It walks hand in hand with kindness and compassion.

10. What’s one thing that makes my current relationship better than other relationships?

– The one I am in now is the last one I want. From the first time I met him, he was the one I wanted forever.. Where we’d fight but wouldn’t give up… Where we would piss each other off but we wouldn’t give up. What we have now is two people who refuse to walk away… So our option is to grow.

11. What’s the one skill I wish more people took the time to learn?

– This isn’t so much what people took time to learn, as it is to perfect: active listening! There’s far too many distractions in this world. We all need to get back to simplicity and actually listen to understand when every person is talking to us. We never know what the next moment holds, or who.

12. What one thing in life should always be free?

– Water should always be free. It’s the essential element that we humans need. To cook, clean, keep hydrated to work, to grow crop, to cool down in heat, to boil for coffee. Yup, it’s the one that should always be readily available and financially least restricting.

What’s your thoughts on any of these questions??

How to Listen Without Getting Defensive

🕉☯️💟☮️

I will be the first to say ” I Do This!! ” No, I don’t want to, so I’ve been working on it.

Today I learn something so interesting, our neurotransmitters filter all the information we absorb. Now, when we hear a ” difference of opinion” about a subject of our deep concern, because it’s of importance to us, we get defensive! It’s the same process that occurs if we see a loved one getting attacked.

This particular article talks about how we can work ourselves out of that defense mode. These are EASY AND SIMPLE changes that can strengthen our relationships of any level!

You’ve Got This!! Good Luck!

Here’s the key to listening non-defensively.

I Dedicate…

Dedicated to The Warriors

This is being formulated for the One Word Prompt Challenge: dedicate! Photos have been taken from Pinterest.

🌼 I dedicate this post to every warrior who’s survived abuse: whether you’re a man, woman, gender fluent, survived emotional abuse, sexual, or physical. An individual who lives to tell their story of every, any, and all situations where he/she endured forced harm is beyond surviving. You are amazing, and you need to believe this about you. 🌸

25 Lifestyle Strategies to Heal Adrenal Fatigue

Here are a few info graphs from Dr. Jockers article on Adrenal Fatigue. Many strategies are ones an individual can use for self care. It’s no wonder how these walk hand -in -hand. The Basics

©️2019mynamaste365online

The elemental foundation is a necessity for all else to suceed. It’s the brick that all else depends; and it’s that which builds strength and endurance. Without it, the holes will weaken the sustenance of the goal, and it’ll crumble.

Why is it that so many major corporations don’t understand this concept? Every right hand should understand the basics. Every left hand should, too. Everyone should be working towards the same goal. Every employee should be trained in the process. Every individual should be aware of how their position affects the rest of the process.

You’d think this was rocket science.

What timing, and quite the suitable word, for The Word of the Day Challenge. It’s also called #OneWordPrompt, I believe.

Today, the world is envision. As I sit here, on 18, February, 2019… Known as President’s Day, in my country, I can’t help but to feel a melting pot of emotions.

In high school, my History teacher, Mr. Kidder, taught the foundations of this country… Or so they (our government) had lead me to believe.

He taught me Christopher Columbus discovered this “new land”…. He taught of the pilgrimage John Smith endured, and the Native American people he encountered. He taught about the wars, and slavery, the greatness of President Lincoln and President Jackson.

I felt proud to be American,…. And ashamed of my leaders. This established feeling escalated through my early adult years, learning the hidden truths of history.

There’s so much our government hasn’t told us. There’s so much more to US History, that paints a heartbreaking picture. I’m not proud of our leaders. I can’t say I’m proud of many of our Presidents. Their choices haven’t been to establish equality for all… And they’ve done so with utter disgraceful lies and secrecy.

This is “Adam Ruins Everything “… You may find yourself questioning what you thought to be truth, as well.

Her biggest heartache isn’t that she doesn’t have a great life;

Her biggest heartache is the life she keeps within her mind as if her “now” shows nothing in her favor.

Her biggest heartache is this image she’s holding onto, instead of embracing what she has.

Time has transformed so much, and that’s what time does best.

Trust your journey sweet moonchild;

It’s changing you for the better;

And the best is yet to come ❤️

The intricate details of his work are outstanding! Each stone, leaf, butterfly, and animal is perfectly designed with talent and dedication. His family has been in Northridge for several generations. Each generation has had a man passionate about stoneary. The painting material is a mixture of crushed ivory tusk, water, and modge podge. He uses a pocket knife carved from slate, heated to harden.

The Great Buck

Picture Challenge

In a far far off land, GreenBryer, two huntsman were deep in the forest. The year had taken them through Summer, and hints of Autumn blanketed the area. Cool breezes were wrestling the tree branches. The leaves were only just beginning to alter color. The morning dew laid glistening the ground.

As the huntsman stabbed the grown with their walking sticks, birds chirped and squirrels sat nibbling on their latest meal. The grass shifted and rabbits came dashing past their feet.

Greenbryer was established on an old Native American farm land. From generation to generation since, families continued farming, thus producing rich fertilizer for the soil. The harvest tastes better than anything store bought. The flavor is like a party is the mouth, and the sight of such makes the towns people salivate.

The huntsmen head out to these woods once a week for catching deer. The wives create many meals with very little. Upon this particular excursion, as the men approached Devil’s Drop, a stunning sight abruptly stopped them in their tracks.

The Great Buck stood at the edge, noble and proud as ever. Legend has it Chief Chippewa and Haritow were the leaders of the Cherokee Native Americans in the area. They were inseparable; the best of companions. When the buffalo stamped threatened the settlement, Chief and his right hand buck chased them out. When the October rain flooded the watering system, the two assured everyone kept safe and the water rerouted. When a child was born, Haritow laid with him/her the evening of birth… establishing a trust between the two.

The men stood warned. His ghostly figure had only been seen the eve of a great disaster. They bowed their heads in gratitude and hurried back to ground.

Men vs women

Living with A Mental Illness II

Industry

“Some of the most evil human beings in the world are psychiatrists. Not all psychiatrists. Some psychiatrists are selfless, caring people who really want to help. But the sad truth is that in today’s society, mental health isn’t a science. It’s an industry. Ritalin, Zoloft, Prozac, Lexapro, Resperidone, happy pills that are supposed to “normalize” the behavior of our families, our colleagues, our friends – tell me that doesn’t sound the least bit creepy! Mental health is subjective. To us, a little girl talking to her pretend friends instead of other children might just be harmless playing around. To a psychiatrist, it’s a financial opportunity. Automatically, the kid could be swept up in a sea of labels. “not talking to other kids? Okay, she’s asocial!” or “imaginary friends? Bingo, she has schizophrenia!” I’m not saying in any way that schizophrenia and social disorders aren’t real. But the alarming number of people, especially children, who seem to have these “illnesses” and need to be medicated or locked up… it’s horrifying. The psychiatrists get their prestigious reputation and their money to burn. The drug companies get fast cash and a chance to claim that they’ve discovered a wonder-drug, capable of “curing” anyone who might be a burden on society… that’s what it’s all about. It’s not about really talking to these troubled people and finding out what they need. It’s about giving them a pill that fits a pattern, a weapon to normalize people who might make society uncomfortable. The psychiatrists get their weapon. Today’s generations get cheated out of their childhoods. The mental health industry takes the world’s most vulnerable people and messes with their heads, giving them controlled substances just because they don’t fit the normal puzzle. And sadly, it’s more or less going to get worse in this rapidly advancing century.”

Gift of yourself 🎄

The gift you give yourself.

Hear is love for you:

Love Yourself so that you RECOGNIZE alone isn’t LONELY

You are OK… being alone with your badass self!

You are OK being at home, on your day off, decorating for Christmas, catching up on that book list you’ve been wanting to read, watching the makeup tutorials or moving around your place.

Recognize alone means you are doing life for you! You’re OK with quiet, you’re OK with your thoughts, who you are, comfortable with just as things are…

Being alone means you are single… Putting yourself first… Embracing your talents and interests, investing and promising to yourself. You are nurturing and guiding yourself to a higher self.

You decide your looks. You decide your morals and believes… All that does and /or doesn’t matter. You create your life, who you are. No one lives your life ; no one else is going to walk your steps… No one else will deal with your consequences. Your life is YOURS!

That’s the beginning of being comfortable, whether you’re with someone or not. That’s the beginning of the journey, because it’s you coming to know who you are. As you continue to travel that road, you realize that power of choice.

The rest of us don’t need to know, you are not in need of our validating… You only need one… YOURS! You first must embrace your confidence within yourself, for your life.

NOW…..

Being lonely is an Emptiness… It has absolutely NOTHING to do with relationship status. There are celebrities that are the loneliest. They’re committing suicide because money isn’t satisfying the human need of “purpose”. Loneliness is a character trait, alone is a status.

When you’re lonely, something is missing… And you’re always trying to fill that void with something temporary.

Being lonely means you feel a need… But, hear this, that need is ONLY what’s within yourself. You will NEVER fill that need from an external source. You were created an original, from a blueprint created by The Most High… Stitched together is a beautiful collection of strengths and flaws, attributes and blessings, thoughts, talents, and stories that only you can give.

The life of loneliness is confusion and ashamed of self, astranged peace of mind, Munipulation, brokeness, judgements and bitterness…. Loneliness is a mental place…

And it’s your place… Unless you choose to redecorate.

Credit the Source

It’s flattering to reference an individual of any talent, as long as credit is rightfully acknowledged. We are all gifted with blessings, and what a world it is to have access to them. Our lives are better, more enriched. It’s the respect of due credit that displays thanks and appreciation for the gift.

Page one for the day?

Good Morning Y’all. My brain is going a mile a minute, despite my lack of coffee intake. That’s very unusual, but, that’s the perfect adjective to describe my life right now.

It’s Thursday, a cold 25 degrees. I already miss summer. We’re up, getting my older daughter ready for school. She’s not entirely recovered from her head cold, but she’s feeling better. Calandra is doin ok. She’s mommy’s little sweet pea cuddle bug.

I’m alright, I suppose. One day at a time, working through the intensity of my emotions. Are there any other HSP’s or INFJs in the nearby blogosphere? If you know of someone, please introduce him/her to me. Anyway, back to these emotions. What I don’t understand makes me frustrated… When I get frustrated, I cry. Sometimes, I don’t believe it’s because of what initially happened, but some other aspect of the situation. For example, I’m not sad that my ex and I are not together, but how it happened has me really shook up.

Since I don’t go out much, I socialize on apps. This one has been my favorite by far. I can’t imagine my life without writing. Of course I don’t feel I’m a big deal, or that I even write exceptionally well. I do feel writing is an outlet for me to convey my thoughts. It’s a platform (that’s the word I was trying to find the other day! Facepalm) to release and create. The possibilities are endless, and my thoughts are on paper. I can create a short story about a love I wish happened to me.. or an ending I feel better suited for my ex. It’s my writing, and I may write as I please. There’s so much freedom in that.

Ok, well you all have a fantastic Thursday. The weekend is almost here. Keep warm if you’re in that part of the globe. Keep an eye out for future posts.

Preference or Absence

Absence makes the heart grow fonder …. or does it? Is it the absence of another individual that strengthens love, with time? Or is it the choice to love from both individuals that sustains through distance and time?

When others die, they don’t return. Does this make our hearts less fond of him/her? Or is it the choice to hold on to the love and let go of the pain?

Absence may indeed make the heart grow fonder, but I believe it’s a deliberate choice to love that sustains the relationship. When someone truly understands what love is…. And what it feels like, … I don’t think someone would allow anything to interfer.

… Or maybe I’m just a woman, insanely in love…
